Sheldon's Bride

December last year I took part in a call for art which resulted in the group exhibition "Girls: Fact or Fiction" at the LightGreyArtLab in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

You had to make a list of four women, two fictional, two real, and the gallery picked you as a participant they would choose which character you had to make.

My list was:

1. Amy Farrah Fowler (fiction, "The Big Bang Theory")

2. Arya Stark (fiction, "Game of Thrones")

3. Hope Solo (fact, football player)

4. Shirley Walker (fact, film composer)

I got to draw Amy, which was so much fun!

The panel below shows my process from very first sketch to concept to exploration drawing to the final piece which was done in pastel.
